Free airport shuttle
Our free Airport Shuttle is for guests flying into & out of Christchurch Airport.
The free Airport Shuttle operates 8am – 8pm, everyday except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Late night pick ups (after 8pm) are not available but early morning (before 8am) airport drop offs are available subject to availability and conditions.
Once you have your bags from the domestic arrival area or have exited the immigration hall, call our free phone 0800 737 893. If you do not have a phone, there are public phones located beside doors #7, #6 and #4. Coins are not required to call an 0800 number from a public phone.
The Airways Motel shuttle is a gold coloured van. Wait at the central island bus shelters outside doors #1 and #2.
Leaving your car while you travel? Our Park ‘n’ Fly package lets you park at the motel from $5/day and take the free shuttle to the terminal.

The free shuttle operates from 8am to 8pm every day, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Pick-ups and drop-offs are by prior arrangement, so let us know your flight times when you book.
Early morning airport drop-offs before 8am are available subject to availability and conditions. Please arrange this with reception in advance so we can confirm a time for your flight.
Shuttle pick-ups are not available after 8pm, however the motel is only a 5-minute taxi or rideshare trip from the terminal. Late check-in can be arranged with our reception - please let us know in advance. There is the option of taking a bus for $4 per person (last bus leaves the airport 10.18pm).
The shuttle is free for guests flying into or out of Christchurch Airport in connection with their stay. For Park ’n’ Fly guests not staying at one end of their parking period, an airport pick-up is available for $15 (8am–8pm).
Stay at least one night at the start or end of your trip, leave your car at the motel for $5 per day (keys must be left with the vehicle), and take the free shuttle to and from the airport. See our Park ’n’ Fly page for full details or contact us to arrange it.

Airways Motel Park & Fly service is available to guests who stay at least 1 night, one end of the parking period.
The charge for this service is $5 per day or part thereof.
