チェックインとチェックアウトの時間は?

チェックイン:午後2時、チェックアウト:午前10時です。

時間前チェックイン(アーリーチェックイン)したい

1時間ほどであれば無料です。もし、正午より前にチェックインしたいという場合は、20ドルから30ドルで承ります。いずれも空きがある場合に限ります。

チェックアウト時間の延長をしたい。(レイトチェックアウト)

午後2時まで、1時間につき20ドルで承ります。その後6時までは1泊料金の50%で承ります。いずれも満室の場合はご希望に添えない場合がございます。ご了承ください。

フロントは24時間対応ですか?

オフィスは午前8時から午後9時までとなっております。

どのような支払方法が可能ですか?

マスターカード、ビザ、エフトポス、および現金でお支払いただけます。ダイナース、アメリカンエクスプレス、小切手でのお支払はできませんのでご注意ください。

午後8時過ぎに到着する飛行機を利用するのですが、チェックインは可能ですか?

可能です。予約時にお知らせください。オフィス横のキーボックスに鍵をご用意しておきます。キーボックスのナンバーは別途メールでお知らせします。

早朝にチェックアウトするのですが、鍵はどうすればいいですか?

お部屋の鍵をかけていただき、鍵は、オフィス横に設置してあるドロップボックスに入れてください。

How far are you from Airport?

Airways Motel is 4km from Christchurch International Airport's main terminal building.

Is there a free Airport Shuttle?

Yes! Airways Motel free shuttle operates 8am-8pm to the airport. Early morning shuttles to the airport are subject to availability and conditions.

Where do I get the free Airways Motel shuttle at the airport?

The shuttle pickup / drop off area is outside of doors 1 and 2 of the main terminal building.

Can I walk from the airport to Airways Motel?

We do not recommend walking (along Russley Rd.).  There is no footpath along the section of road that has a speed limit of 80km and is used by many large trucks.  The detour to avoid this stretch of road is really too long to walk.   Best to make use of the free shuttle.

Can I bus from the airport after the shuttle stops at 8pm?

Yes! After the motel shuttle stops at 8pm, the Metro bus route 125 leaves from the airport to the motel (stops right outside) at 8.24pm, 8.54pm, 9.24pm, 10.24pm). The cost is $4 (child $2) and takes approx. 12 minutes. Get off at Russley Rd near Dinton St (ask the driver for help).

How much is a taxi or rideshare to the airport?

Taxis from the airport to Airways Motel are usually more than $30. Ride share is $16 to $18.

Can I walk to a shop?

There is a Z Shop 24/7 convenience store at the Z service station just 50m away.

Can I walk to a restaurant close to the Airways Motel?

The local fish ‘n chip shop is a 800 metre walk.
MacDonald’s is a 900 metre walk.
The closest restaurant (One Good Horse) is a 2.1km walk.

Can I drive to a restaurant close to Airways Motel?

Areas with restaurants within a 5 minute drive are; Spitfire Square, The Hub (Hornby Mall) vicinity, Upper Riccarton vicinity.

Is food delivery available?

Yes! A local Indian restaurant and pizza options will take a phone order and deliver.

Uber Eats is available in Christchurch.

Is there car rental close by?

Yes! At the airport and the nearby Mustang Park vehicle rental hub. Make use of our shuttle service to get there.

Can I catch a bus close by?

Yes! The Metro Christchurch bus stop is outside the motel. The 140 bus goes into the city and the 125 goes to the airport. Buses run twice an hour in general.

I love skiing, how far is Airways Motel located from Mount Hutt?

Mt. Hutt’s ski slopes are a mere 102km (90 minutes) drive from Airways Motel.

Is there a skifield shuttle pickup point close to Airways Motel?

Yes, Snowman Shuttles picks up at 7.30am from the Z service station just 50m away from the Motel.

Can I bus from the city centre to Airways Motel?
Can I bus from the city centre to Airways Motel?

Yes! From the central Bus Interchange, catch the Yellow Line to Rolleston via Hornby and get off at Church Corner. Transfer to route 140 Russley/Mt Pleasant to Russley & Hornby and get off at Russley Rd near Dinton St (ask the driver for help). Cost $4 (child $2).  Takes approx. 40 minutes.

FACILITIES / SERVICES

Will my room have a kitchen sink?

Queen Studio and Triple Studio do not have a kitchen sink. King / Twin Studio, Disability Studio, 1 Bedroom with Bathtub and Family 1 Bedroom do have a kitchen sink.

Will my room have an iron and iron board?

King / Twin Studio and 1 Bedroom with Bathtub do have an iron and iron board. Queen Studio, Triple Studio, Family 1 Bedroom and Disability studio do not so use the communal ironing facilities in the guest laundry.

Will my room have a microwave, jug and toaster?

Yes! All rooms have microwave, jug and toaster.

Do you have air con?

Yes! All guest rooms have air con.  These are individually controlled in each room.  It is not a centralised system.

Is my room on the ground floor?

King/Twin Studio is on the ground floor and first floor.

Family 1 Bedroom Unit, Disability Studio and Triple Studio are on the ground floor only.

One Bedroom with Bathtub and Queen Studio is on the upper level only.

Is Airways Motel accessible?

Yes. The Motel offers wheelchair access and reduced mobility rooms. For specific enquiries, we recommend calling ahead to confirm.

Do you have security cameras?

Yes! Security cameras record movement on site.

Do you have free parking?

Yes, Airways Motel has ample free car parking. One car park per unit is guaranteed. Parking for trailers, trucks and campervans etc is subject to availability. Please enquire when booking.

Can I leave my vehicle while I go on holiday?

Yes! Our Park ‘n Fly service is $5 per day or part there of when you stay one night at either end of your holiday. Leaving the car key at reception is required. The airport shuttle, if required is $15 for the night you do not stay. Subject to conditions and availability.

What SKY TV channels do you offer?

We have the SKY Entertainment and Sports package.

Do you offer breakfast?

Airways Breakfast is either continental ($4 per item) or cooked ($25 choose 5 of 9 menu items). Breakfast can also be arranged on arrival.

Do you have baby beds (cot) and high chairs?

Baby beds (cot) and highchairs can be provided, but are subject to availability and a charge.

What are the charges for baby beds (cots) and highchairs?

Baby beds (cots) are $10 per night. There is no charge for high chairs.

POLICY

What is your Individual and Group cancellation policy?
Individual booking cancellation policy

48 hours’ notice prior to 12 noon of arrival date is required for a no charge cancellation. 
Failure to cancel within the above timeframe will result in up to 2 nights’ accommodation being charged.  No shows will be charged up to 2 nights’ accommodation.  Reservations (including no shows) of 3 or more nights, when cancelled outside of the above timeframe, will be charged the agreed amount unless we are able to resell the room or rooms.  Notwithstanding this, even in the case that the cancelled room or rooms can be resold, a $30.00 per room per night administration fee will be charged.

Group booking cancellation policy

Partial or full cancellation of group bookings must be notified no later than 60 days prior to the expected date of arrival.  All partial or full cancellations less than 60 days prior to the expected date of arrival will be charged the quoted amount unless we are able to resell the cancelled room or rooms.  Notwithstanding this, in the case that the cancelled room or rooms are able to be resold, a $30.00 per room per night administration fee will be charged.

Are all rooms non-smoking rooms?

Smoking is not allowed in any of our Motel rooms.

What does smoke free mean?

Our rooms are smoke free.  Smoking on balconies and other areas is allowed.

Are children welcome?

Children of all ages are welcome.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed.

Is there a charge for children staying?

Children below the age of 2 stay free when using existing bedding. Children above the age of 2 will be charged the extra person charge of $30. Children above the age of 2 are included in the maximum occupancy of all rooms.

Is there a visitor policy?

Visitors are permitted at the discretion of management and must leave when requested. Any visitors onsite must depart by 9.00pm. We reserve the right to charge as ‘extra persons’ any visitors on site after 9.00pm. Parties and large groups are not permitted.
