Covid-19

Airways Motel has systems appropriate to every COVID-19 alert level which comply with Ministry of Health requirements.

This is what we are doing:

Overall – In alert levels 2, 3 and 4 guests are requested to remain in their own “room bubble”, staying 2m away from other guests.

Motel Office – is open in alert levels 2 and 3 (with physical distancing conditions) but remains closed in alert level 4. While the motel office is closed, our virtual check process allows guests to go straight to their rooms and payments are processed without any direct contact.
Breakfast – either continental or cooked can be served in the privacy and safety of each guest room.

Room Servicing – in alert levels 2 and 3 guests can choose whether to have a room service or not. During level 4 an easy self service system is in place which allows physical distancing to be maintained.

Guest Laundry – is locked when not in use and high touch surfaces are sterilized between guest use.

Airport Shuttle – from alert level 3 a plastic wall separates the driver and passenger seating compartments and all shuttles operate with only 1 room bubble in the shuttle at a time.

Communal Areas – are closed for use in levels 3 and 4. This refers to the garden furniture and other outdoor seating.
